Over the week of winter break I got the opportunity to speak at Ionia Middle School , Knapp Charter Academy, Badger Ridge Middle School, Worthington Middle School and a few others. I had a great time and wanted to thank all the teachers, students and principals who welcomed me with open arms. The students were very responsive and I met so many cool people. It was great traveling and having a blast at night as well.

I know I have a busy schedule coming up but I look forward to the challenges ahead, what a great time of life. I can’t wait because For Love or Honor, my third novel, is all done and ready to go. The few people that read it already said it was incredible and my best yet. I can’t wait for it to be released.

I just read The Crossing to see what you have written and get to know your writing style. Very well done, what a great accomplishment at your age. One thing I enjoyed about the book was your word choice. There are many opportunities to teach students new vocabulary words. Upon completion of the novel I created a reading guide for my students with questions, vocabulary and character descriptions, as well as some discussion questions for possible lit circles. Maybe in the future I will be able to use the book in class. Being that we live so close to the border, this book has some very timely issues in it for our students. I hope that we are able to find funds and schedule you for a visit to our school. I know the student would enjoy reading this novel
